Transition from eEdge Website to Command Agent Site

Authors list

During the process of transitioning your business from eEdge to Command, you may possibly be transitioning from an eEdge website to a Command Agent Site.

If you are making the transition from an eEdge website to a Command Agent Site, you might be in one of these scenarios:

1. You have Market Leader Pro account with a custom URL and you own the domain you chose.

2. You have a Market Leader Pro account with a custom URL but Market Leader owns the domain you chose.

3. You have a free eEdge account with no custom URL, Market Leader owns the domain, and subdomain.

Market Leader Pro Account (Agent owns domain)

If you have a Market Leader Pro account and also own the domain you chose then you will take the following steps to transition to a Command Agent Site:

1. Complete the Agent Site Kelle Guide in Command.

  • Click here to learn how to set up your Agent Site.

2. Reach out to your domain provider and request to forward your domain to your Agent Site.

Market Leader Pro Account (Market Leader owns domain)

If you have a Market Leader Pro account but Market Leader owns the domain then you will take the following steps to transition to a Command Agent Site:

1. Reach out to Market Leader to transfer domain ownership to you.

  • Click here to learn how to transfer your eEdge website name.

2. Complete the Agent Site Kelle Guide in Command to set up your Agent Site.

  • Click here to learn how to set up your Agent Site.

3. Reach out to your domain provider and request to forward your domain to your Agent Site.

Free Market Leader Account

If you have a free Market Leader account you will not be able to forward that URL to your Command Agent Site. The URL of a free eEdge website is made up of a primary domain and a subdomain. For example you may have had a website name that is "yourname.kwrealty.com". The "yourname" of the URL is the primary domain and the "kwrealty.com" is the subdomain. Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer ownership of a subdomain because it is owned by Market Leader.

The only step you will need to take is completing the Agent Site Kelle Guide.

  • Click here to learn how to set up your Agent Site.
