Create a Direct Mail Campaign Using Pre-made Templates

It is easy to launch a direct mail campaign, through Command, which will be sent out for you using RealMailers. The great thing is, we have some pre-made templates, that allow you to fill in the information you want to send, while looking great.

To learn how to utilize these dynamic templates to launch a direct mail campaign, follow the steps below:


1. Log in to with your Keller Williams login credentials.

2. Click the Campaigns icon,, on the left side bar.

3. Click Create a New Campaign at the top right of the page.

4. Choose Direct Mail.


Initial Details 

1. Enter the campaign name in the field provided.

2. Select your Marketing Campaign Goal and choose Default Templates Provided. Once the form is complete, click Set Up Campaign.



Choosing the "default templates provided" option utilizes pre-made templates that can be customized with your own photos, logos, and business information.

If you want to upload a custom templae, you will need to create designs for the front and back. You can also upload JPEG or PDF files.

This section will only appear, if you choose "Advertise Listing" as your campaign goal.


The Campaigns applet has a connection with Keller Cloud's listing feed. When you click Set Up Campaign, a listing panel will appear, if you selected the Advertise Listing campaign goal. You can search your listings and select the one you want to feature:

1. Search for the property you want to feature. You can use the search tools such as the address search and filters at the top right of the search page to narrow your results.

2. Click Select once you found your desired property. This will load the listing details and photos into the form, for you to utilize in the ad.

3. If you need to change the property, click the pencil icon and the listing panel will appear.


Step 1: Configure Campaign

Postcard Template

1. On the right side of the page, select a postcard template. The sizing and price per post card will show under each option.


Below the postcard template section, you also have the ability to add a QR code to your postcard. Once it is scanned by the recipient, they will be taken to a landing page you selected from the drop-down. This is a great way to get leads from the direct mail campaign you are sending out.

1. Click the Tracking toggle and select a Landing Page from the "Landing Page Assigned" drop-down.


In the Listing Details section, you have some options, based on the goal of your campaign:

1. If you added a listing, in the step above, you can edit any of the listing details, including the ability to change the selected listing.

  • If you did not add a listing, you have the option to do so now, using the Select Listing button. 
  • If this is not a listing specific campaign, you can skip this section.

2. Click Save, if you made any changes.


Listing Photo
The listing photo will be printed on the postcard. You can use the photo in the KWLS listing or upload another photo.  Before you upload a photo, use these image guidelines to ensure high-quality printing. If the listing photo is not within these guidelines, an error message such as "listing picture is invalid" or "low resolution photo" will display. If this occurs, replace the photo.

To manually upload a listing photo, follow these steps: 

1. Click the upload icon.

2. Select a photo from your computer files.

3. Click Save.

  • You can also click Upload and Replace Image to change the photo.


The "Agent Details" fields are automatically completed with KWLS listing information. Review the information to ensure your information is correct. Manually upload your agent photo with these steps:

1. Click the upload icon.

2. Select a photo
from your computer files.

3. Click Save.

  • You can also click Adjust Cropping to crop the photo or click Upload and Replace Image to change the photo.


Market Center Details

1. Review the information to ensure the Market Center information is correct, and edit any details as needed.

2. Manually upload your DBA logo with these steps: 

  • Click the upload icon.
  • Select a company logo from your computer files. 
  • Click Save.
  • You can also click Adjust Cropping to crop the photo or click Upload and Replace Image to change the photo.

3. You will have to verify your address as well. To verify your address, follow these steps:

  • Enter your company address.
  • Click Verify Address.
  • Click Confirm Address.
  • Click Save.


Select the targeting of the campaign:

  • Local Targeting - the system will take you through the workflow, in the next section, to choose a location and targeting criteria around your campaign.
  • Target My Database - Click Add Contacts to build a mailing list from your database.



Once you have verified your company address, you can set the budget for the mail campaign:

1. Set your postcard quantity by clicking the + or - icons. The postage will be set to "Standard" by default.

2. Click Save when done.

3. Once you have completed and reviewed the "Step 1: Configure Campaign" page, click Step 2: Configure Targeting, at the top right of the page. You can also click Save as Draft and your draft ad campaign will be kept on your "My Marketing Campaigns" list. 

4. Click Yes, to confirm


Step 2: Configure Targeting
Targeting allows you to tailor the list of recipients for your campaign. This is a highly valuable tool for KW agents. In the future, even more advanced targeting will be added.      

1. Select the number of homes to target with your campaign. 


2. Set your desired "Advanced Filtering" settings


3. Select if you want a copy of the mailer sent to your address and click Next.



It is optional to select Send a Copy to Company Address  



Preview and Pay

1. Review the front and back of your postcard to be sure it meets your expectations.  


  • To see a full page of your postcard, click View a Larger Preview.


2. Review the "What Happens Next" section to know how RealMailers will proceed with your order, and then click Make a Payment, once you have reviewed your order total.


3. You will be taken the RealMailers secure payment site. Enter your email address and payment information, and then click Pay.


Once you have set-up your Direct Mail marketing campaign, you can view it in the "Direct Mail" section of campaigns.
